Objectives – Facultad de Bellas Artes

Promote the knowledge, exercise, and practice of the Performing Arts in Colombian education.
Provide new theoretical-practical elements in order to generate viable alternatives for the application of the Performing Arts in different environments and sociocultural contexts.
Propose a training process that leads to creative and innovative educational actions, from a holistic perspective that provides globalizing elements of understanding of reality.
Make visible a conception of the subject as a political and historical being related to a social context.
Articulate the training corresponding to the specific area and the research, didactic and methodological frameworks of teaching at different school levels and various social contexts.
Develop the spirit included in the Pedagogical Political Project of the National Pedagogical University and enable its application and enrichment.
