Trajectory

The LAV was established between 1999 and 2000. However, it officially began its work with Resolution 3487 on June 23, 2006, in which the Ministry of National Education (MEN) granted Qualified Registration. Between 2007 and 2010, the LAV had an active participation in the curricular adjustment processes of the University and Faculty. In 2011, the program graduated its first group of students. In 2012, the LAV completed its first self-evaluation process with the aim of renewing the Qualified Registration by the MEN. This renewal was achieved in 2013 through Resolution 14573 of the same year, for a period of seven years, along with the approval of the 2014 curriculum.

In 2016 the bachelor’s degree initiated the self-evaluation process for Quality Accreditation purposes and through MEN Resolution No. 11244 of 2017, achieving its accreditation for four years

Between the semesters 2017 and 2019, it focused its efforts on strengthening the groups and line of research, the consolidation of research groups and increased national and international mobility and, in general, to project itself at national and international level through the articulated work between students, teachers, graduates and managers. In addition, the most ambitious achievement of this period is the updating of the curriculum which, related to the self-evaluation process carried out between 2018 and 2019, achieves the Renewal of the Qualified Registration, granted through MEN Resolution 012799 of 2020.
