Mission

The mission of the bachelor’s degree in visual arts is to educate graduates, and also investigate and make social projection in the extensive area of visual art education, which includes art and visual culture, from solid ethical and political values oriented to the critical understanding of subjects and communities in their contexts, with anchorage in the reality of our country along with a broad perspective of the contemporary world.

Vision

To be recognized nationally and internationally as a community that produces relevant pedagogical and didactic thought in the extensive field of visual arts education; that provides training for graduates, researches and develops social projection based on solid ethical and political values; generating a critical understanding of the subjects and communities in their contexts, based on its anchorage in the reality of the country together with a broad perspective of the contemporary world.
